My week has been a total flop
Monday I had my semi-annual follow up to my annual Medicare Wellness Check. We talked about seeing the orthopedic specialist regarding my “trigger thumb”. I don’t want surgery.
Then Mr Busy and I went to our county recreation center and walked the indoor track.
I was mulling over the PQ prompt “Button it Up”
I couldn’t come up with a plan. So I cleaned my sewing space. And did some ironing, while the washer was going.
Mr Busy continued to watch YouTube videos of the goings on in our nation’s capital. I can’t!
Tuesday and Wednesday were much the same except we had a winter storm watch. We got approximately 6 inches of snow.
Still I tried to sew, PQ kept nagging at me. A design made itself known But it upset me. It was political in theme. And the more I thought about it the madder I became. So I did nothing.
Thursday I stitched with friends. We were at the golf club again. We had a good turnout and some great projects were shared. I slept fitfully, my orthopedic appointment was early Friday morning. I was nervous.
Up early Friday morning. Did I go to my sewing room to put my night disturbances under the needle? Nope! I wiled away the time with coffee and iPad. I asked hubby to go with me. Normally I’m not a “baby”, but I was nervous. I received a cortisone injection into the base of my thumb. This morning there is still some pain, but also some improvement.
I apologize for this whiney post. I’m going to try to “get my act together” before I post again.
I did not sew Yellow and I did not make a Project Quilting 16.6 challenge entry. If you click the links in the previous sentence, you’ll see some wonderful entries in both these challenges. Hopefully Spring will come and my attitude will improve.
Stay Busy and Stay Happy and Healthy and Hopeful.
