ScrapHappy Saturday Purple #3

Some success. All 8 Hollow nine patches are done

And cutting has begun on the Geese Migration blocks

It's slow going. I have "tweaked" my back somehow. I was fine when I got out of bed on Thursday. I made a cup of coffee and went outside to sit on the front deck. I was reading blog posts. Mr Busy woke up, so I picked up my tablet and coffee cup and went inside to join him. When I got ready to get up from my chair to fetch another cup of coffee, I couldn't stand up. I am mobile, no dr visit. This has happened before, it's sciatica. Moving and standing are difficult. Sitting and laying are just fine. I'm taking Tylenol ( it's the only pain reliever I am allowed) and using menthol rub and heat at different times. I will be fine.

I got this scrap basket done too. Pieces were cut, sewing was easy. The inside is two different gingham fabrics, gifted to me in a large tub. There is more of a larger gingham, I think it was curtains!

Don't ya love the Red Hat fabric. It was a gift too. I am not a Red Hat member, but I love the sentiment!

Stay Busy and Stay Happy and Healthy!  Especially you, Angela!  Linking up at ScrapHappy Saturday.

  1. Oh Judy I have been battling sciatica all week now--no fun right? Are you doing exercises? I found some online that really helped me...

Nice collection of purples you have going there...

  3. Well, darn it on your back! That's no fun. Sounds like you know how to deal with it, though. Pretty purples in your 9 patches, and your scrap basket looks good!
