Stuff I Like:
Beside my chair or in my bag!
Notebook and pen:
Also a conglomeration of pens & pencils, a small bottle of lotion, tissue, and emery board and a letter opener.
To sew:
And television watching is also time to hand stitch binding. This is one of my OMG goals for August.
And speaking of television.
We are watching Yellowstone on Paramount. And we just learned there will be a season 4. I saw a notice for extras in the Montana areas of Bozeman and Dillon. Fun!
And CBS Sunday Morning with Jane Pauley. It's been a favorite Sunday early morning guilty pleasure for many years. I get up earlier than Mr Busy, usually. Coffee and slow stitching and an hour and 1/2 of alone time! Heaven.!!
I especially like WORDS:
. Wishes for my daughter.
Stolen from Chantal @ At the Corner of Scraps and QuiltsAnd I finished reading Before I Say Good-bye by Mary Higgins Clark. I had not read this author previously. The book was donated to me by a friend. I've had it for about a year. My reading mojo may have returned....so I picked this on out of the stacks. I enjoyed it. Kind of light, not exactly a Cozy Mystery genre. But enjoyable.

Gorgeous Purples! I read Mary Higgins Clark years ago and really enjoyed her books. I need to go back as read them again.
ReplyDeleteAlways fun to see what's on your table, Judy! I love sewing binding, too, and Yellowstone sounds like a good show! I was just checking and we don't get that network - too bad. I love Mary Higgins Clark! She also has a series co-written with another author, Alafair Burke, that is really good. Happy Thursday!
ReplyDeleteI have your pen holder/stuff holder mate right here beside me. Brushes, pens, file, scissors... yep. I love binding... the cleaning up and letting go of a project. Haven't watched yellowstone, it will go on my list for when tv goes blackscreen because they can't shoot new shows. Sounds great and I love the actual park

The quote by Brook Hampton was my favorite of your "likes" today! Of course I enjoyed the quilts too!
ReplyDeleteAwesome quote. I agree one of my favorite likes of the day so far. I am envious of your flat spot near your chair. In my house, if it is flat, it gathers junk. Yay for binding! I love Yellowstone I watched season one, I need to watch season 2 but I barely watch TV.
ReplyDeleteHi Judy! Ooh, that project that you are binding looks so pretty. Those fabrics are intriguing. I've never heard of Yellowstone but it sounds really interesting. I read a book series about a Ranger in that area so a TV program would be right up my alley. Hey - we actually get that channel so I'm taping an episode. Thank you! Finally, I used to read a lot of MHC - she can really write well, sometimes. ~smile~ Roseanne
ReplyDeleteOoh - I like those purple blocks. Ah... hand binding. That's always good stuff. I love the quilting on that quilt behind the book!
ReplyDeleteAll good stuff! Have a great week!
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing your likes. It all made me smile but I do love those hollow nine patches!
ReplyDeleteI love your purple combinations. I could see a tunic in those squares. :-)
ReplyDeleteI love that Brooke Hampton quote- so wonderful to have such a positive vibe. And I love that red white and blue Christmas tree pincushion on your desk! I love seeing all the variety of pincushions sewers and quilters have!
