I gave the blue tube to Mr Busy, it just lifted out of the hole. Sorry about the busy background! It's the toy corner in the family room.
I used it like this when I was binding the QOV quilt. I need to figure out how to secure the little pincushion, but I think I have an idea!
Entertainment.
I’m tired of reruns on Prime Time TV. And I’m not much interested in the summer programs. I’m not a reality TV fan. There is a program on Hulu called Love in the Time of Corona. It looks good. I hope to get a chance to see it.
Our upstairs smart TV did an update or something and then needed me to re enter all our passwords for our streaming services. Egad! That is done and we started watching Lucifer on Netflix. The premise is he is really Lucifer, but he ends up on Earth and he likes it. He starts helping a female detective solve crimes. Last night I had a thought. It’s Castle with a twist!
I am reading Mary Trump's tell all book! OMG.....what a family! I'm not sure if I can review it when I am done. We will see how the "story" continues.
Projects: DIY variety:
The deck project is done! That makes me smile every time I look out my kitchen window. Mr Busy cleaned up the other back yard spaces. We have willow trees, and although lovely shade, ( I like) they are messy (not like). Always dropping leaves, little twigs, even bigger branches sometimes. And they attract birds who have been eating ripe berries and leave purplish messes everywhere! ( that’s definitely a NOT like).
I’m ready to sew with RED for September.
And I have one, only one, ripe tomato.
And I’ve started to put up some fall decor.
I like CHOCOLATE! This is called Cookie Cake. It’s a recipe from my aunt. My dad’s brother’s wife. She had been very ill recently, and passed away early Monday morning. I made this dessert as a tribute. We won’t be able to travel to a memorial service unless they decide to have it much later.

Hi Judy! I think your aunt would be happy with the tribute and kind thoughts about her chocolate Cookie Cake. It sure looks yummy! Yay to Fall decor and only one tomato?! I've been meaning to add Mary's book to my library list but I guess there's no rush. I don't know if I want to read the story behind the man and his family - I don't think I care enough. {hugs} ~smile~ Roseanne

I do that for Jeff on special days, his birthday I make Fresh banana cake with whipped cream frosting, and for the holidays I always make coconut cream pie from scratch, and coat the pie shell in chocolate. Great way to repurpose the twine holder. Love your squirrel fall embroidery piece. I am not too sure if I could read that book, just give me more reasons to detest him I think.
