I’m so glad that I happened on the To-Do Tuesday List hosted by Home Sewn by Us. This one keeps me accountable on a weekly basis. I’m a believer in small steps lead to big projects done!
Last week's To-Do List:
September 1- September 7
1. Make 2 each , masks for Granddaughter and her fiance in Vermont! As I re read this it looks like I said 2 for S and 2 for J. As of Monday, I only made 1 for S and 1 for J.

But Monday, I decided to quick make 2 more masks. I ended up helping Mr Busy clean the garage. I needed him to make a space to bring in my potted plants. There is a freeze predicted and maybe snow! Quid pro quo! But we got it done, so mid afternoon, I made Progress. And put the elastic through as I was putting the finish on supper. Done
2. Sew red crumb blocks in preparation for a scrap basket. Done

3. Cut pieces for red Geese Migration Blocks! Done
4. Keep looking for the missing thread or restart with a different color! I found it! It was in my thread drawer! Go figure!!!
To-Do List for next week.
September 8- September 14
1. Sew Geese Migration blocks
2. Cut parts for Easy Breezy blocks
3. Continue on Loose Threads Challenge project.
Yes, we have snow on the ground this morning. Only on the rooftops and the grass. Not on the streets or sidewalks. So glad my tomatoes are in the garage along with my amaryllis and my granddaughter's Christmas cactus.

snow is so early for all of you this winter - but then this has been quite a year so I guess we shouldn't be surprised - the cold front didn't get to us like they said it might - I had really looked forward to the cooler air as it wasn't going to be anything like what you have but in the 70's/50 instead we are back close to 90 today

ReplyDeleteIt's wet here for us, but hasn't turned into snow yet, although they're still saying it will. We brought plants in the garage last night, too! Glad you found your thread! Looking forward to seeing your red projects come together, too.
ReplyDeleteHi Judy! Great job on finding your thread. Hiding in plain sight, or the last place you would look! I heard that CO was supposed to get snow as well as ND. Gee whiz - it is too darn early for that, even if it doesn't stick around. I think I might need to make a few more masks for myself. This wearing them every day is nuts! ReplyDeleteI covered my tomatoes. Now I have work to do this weekend. Tomatoe canning and salsa canning is work. Too bad because I want to sew.
ReplyDeleteIt definitely cooled off fast! We didn't get snow, but it's definitely chilly. So much so the college girl pulled out her heavy jacket to walk to campus. You've got some very fun projects in the works. Good luck with this week's to do list.
