I had really hoped to get the temperature heart DONE. But I didn’t. I’ve got 5 days to finish. That’s only 25 stitches, there are 4 different colors. Yes, I have 4 needles threaded with the four necessary colors. So it shouldn’t take very long this morning
As soon as it is done today, I’ll wash gently and block it to dry. I’m going to have it framed at Hobby Lobby.
Then I’ll work on the Biscornu. I’ve started the second octopus. Barely!
And I did get the Shamrock Alphabet Sampler finished. It’s a small dough bowl filler. I just whip stitched some left over rayon or nylon cording to the edges.
I’d really like to do a small Easter stitch. Need to look for a pattern.
I’m linking up with Kathy’s Slow Sunday Stitching.

Your temperature heart is gorgeous, Judy. I look forward to seeing it all framed and ready for display in the near future. Aah I love your Shamrock mini sampler. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for stitching it. It looks fabulous. Have a wonderful day. Hugs.
ReplyDeleteYour temperature is such a neat project, Judy! You're almost there. And the octopus is darling! Have you read Remarkably Bright Creatures? I'm thinking about the octopus theme! :)
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful way to depict the temperatures each day! It is definitely time for spring projects. Gail at the cozy quilter

ReplyDeleteYour temperature heart is so pretty. I rather love daylight savings, too. Sadly, down here it will be ending soon.
ReplyDeleteYour temperature heart is so cute, Judy!!! I've seen many temperature quilts, afghans, etc, but not a heart like that--looks do-able!!! Cute bowl filler, too!
