Not much sewing this week. I did cut 9, different neutrals that read white, 3.5 “ square, 3 times. I made 3 more nine patches to go to the current block drive over at Quilting is more fun than Housework.
I gathered 9 different neutrals with a creamy background to make some of those. Cynthia has asked us NOT to mix them.
It’s a subtle difference. There was lots of rearranging and rearranging again.
There was some sewing with yellow also. One yellow potato chip block was finally completed.
And there is a crumb block under my needle.

Even a little sewing is progress in the right direction! I really like your crumbs and potato chip blocks. :)
ReplyDeleteChips and Crumbs in YELLOW... Yum!!
ReplyDeleteIt can really be challenging to separate creamy neutrals from true whites! It always depends on the lighting for me. Yours look great, Judy! Happy yellow blocks, too!
ReplyDeleteFun scrappy blocks, Judy!!!
ReplyDeleteNice blocks I've been having a block party in the sewing room too🤣
ReplyDeleteLove your neutral blocks as much as I love the scrappy yellow.
ReplyDeleteIt's kind of amazing how much interest you've creative with neutral blocks. I really like them.
ReplyDeleteOne piece sewn to another, then one block to sewn to its neighbor, before you know it you have a quilt. Not every week can be pedal to the floor. Congratulations on moving forward.
