I LIKE THURSDAY

 Happy First Day of Spring!

I like the first buds of Spring. I’m not seeing any in my neighborhood, but I will.

There was this sign of Spring…the first Robin.

He was a bit confused about the snow, so was I. This was Tuesday.

We don’t often cook breakfast. But last Sunday we did. Eggs, bacon, grits and cinnamon toast. So yummy!

Are you a fan of grits? Some people aren’t.

We are watching each new episode of 1923. GOSH, we like that one. Harrison Ford and Helen Mirren are joined by several pretty good young actors.

And, Suits L.A. too!  But the jury is still out on that one.

I finished this book, last night. I give it 4.7 of 5 ⭐️

It was slow to start, but it’s grew on me.

Book Club is Monday afternoon, we will be discussing Remarkably Bright Creatures  I enjoyed that one too!  Have you read it?  What did you think?

Hop on over toNot Afraid of Color  and see what LeeAnna and some other bloggers LIKE!

Stay Busy and Stay Happy and Healthy and Hopeful!

  1. I would devour what is on that plate, although I would pick out the raisins. ;) We both love grits, my husband had a bowl this morning. I especially love cheese grits!

    1. We would love cheese grits too. Though I’ve never made them. Luckily we both like cinnamon raisin toast, but it’s a treat. Don’t have it often.

  2. I have only watched the first season of 1923. I am looking forward to getting into the second season. Ford and Mirren are terrific in this show!

  3. Aaah such a sweet robin. It does look a little confused about the snow. Oh yes, I love grits. I usually add a bit of butter and sugar to them. We also like shrimp and grits- yummy! Have a wonderful day.

    1. I was mentioning shrimp and grits to Mr. Busy. I’ll have to go searching for a recipe on the internet. Never made those either.

  4. That's a lot of snow, Judy - hope it melts quickly! We didn't get much - just a dusting but cold and windy anyway. I have had shrimp and grits at a restaurant - it was tasty! I have the Eowyn Ivy book on my hold list at the library. Looking forward to reading it!

    1. It’s Friday afternoon and the snow is all gone. Even on our north facing deck. It’s sunny and windy and only 46 degrees, but the wind does take the snow.

  6. I think book club will be interesting. We have one member that did read it. She, “ couldn’t get into it.” She knew and I don’t know her well. I’m not sure of her favorite genre. Definitely not about an old lady and an octopus.! LOL
