Yesterday I made an effort to finish this book. I am enjoying it and I want to return it to the library today!
I would recommend it you like historical fiction. I’m sure that the story is based on fact. Some of the dates and places I checked are correct.
I did FaceTime with the great grands in Florida. They are anxious to be done with school! Our second grade grandson gave me a review of a research paper he wrote on Area 51. And showed me his library books and his sister’s library books. And I shared my library book too!
Mr. Busy and I finished this puzzle. A gift from a friend who is also a quilter. Lots of colors and detail. Fun!
I’m working on a couple more Bow Blocks from Melva Loves Scraps, Pieces of the Past Sew Along! I’m using some left over fabric from a long ago abandoned Thimbleberries project. Pink-ish one currently with a green one being constructed at the same time.
They are little! The green one doesn’t look like there is enough contrast here, but in “real life” it is good!
We traveled to see the eye doctor. My prescription changed a little. Now to order new glasses. Mr Busy has an appointed with a surgeon on Cinco de Mayo about a cataract! Hopefully that will go well. While we were in the “big city” , we ate lunch at Olive Garden. Salad, soup and breadsticks! Yum-O!
Hi Judy! I suspect that only your great grands are ready to be finished with school already. I am, too (and I work all year!). When is their school year finished? How sweet that your great-grandson showed you his library books and you could return the favor. I've always loved going to the library since I was a small child. It was a weekly event - every Friday evening. Olive Garden!! I haven't been there in forever, it seems. Soup, salad, and breadsticks sounds just wonderful and a nice treat! I love Olive Garden salad. They do that SO GOOOOOOOD! Looks like the perfect puzzle for us quilters. Love all the colors in it too!
