My goal for October was to get 72 of my hollow 9’s into a quilt top. It looked like this on my design wall in September!
Then, I cut skinny sashings to make the blocks easier to join and yet keep the diagonal slashes of color.
Last week, it was done! But I wondered if it needed borders?
Linda at Texas Quilt Gal was the only one who weighed in, but I agreed and took her advice.
This morning , 10-25-21, it is bordered! It’s now 48 X 53! A good lap or “big kid” size!
Now to think about a backing.

we both got our boosters and hope a lot of people do but some still haven't even gotten their first and seem to be resisting. Only 50% of people in Arkansas have gotten them - the quilt looks good with a border
