I Like Thursday #65

                                                       Hooray   for Thursday!

I’m linking  up with LeeAnna at Not Afraid of Color  and other bloggers sharing “likes” or gratitude!

I’m glad that this is going forward as planned. Slowly but surely!

Then Tuesday morning we woke up to this! ⬆️

And Wednesday it was still going! Lots more accumulation and 35 mph winds! ⬇️

Why do I like this? Because we need the moisture! It’s heavy and wet and will give much needed moisture for the ranchers around here.

I don’t have photos but we have wonderful neighbors! R&B arrived late Tuesday afternoon and shoveled our walk, porch and driveway. Now, it’s drifted again, but it would have been double if they hadn’t cleared away yesterday’s accumulation! Im thankful for good, young, healthy neighbors! ❤️

Have a great week

Stay Busy and Stay Happy and Healthy

  1. Judy! SNOW ALREADY!! Egads, but I'm grateful you and the locals are getting some moisture! I'm obsessed with your hollow 9 patches! I love it and even saved the photo as a reminder of what I might want to do later! Thanks for the inspiration! That little guy in the high chair is sure a cutie-pie! Have a great day!

  2. that is so nice to have young neighbors that come help you out! So much snow and I was thinking the same thing when I heard on the news of the winter storm out west - y'all have been so dry that you need lots of snow this year I know - you will get tired of it after awhile but maybe it will make for less fires in the summer

  3. Oh boy, look at that snow! You're right, though - we need the moisture here, too. How great to have such helpful neighbors!

  5. Oh what a happy little one! First birthdays are always so awesome. My youngest turned 33. I got her a cake and a couple of small gifts. She said she thinks that at a certain age that birthday gifts should be for the mother that birthed them to celebrate the giving of life. Oh snow. I am not ready. sniff, sniff.

  7. Hi Judy! WOWEE! That is a lot of snow and so early. I am glad you got a good amount - as long as you're going to have it, might as well make it worth your while. That baby picture is so darn cute! Anyone you know? Your quilt top is coming together so nicely. Happy Friday! ~smile~ Roseanne

  8. How amazing you have snow and we are still having humidity this late in October, all this far north of you. I’m sure it will disappear quickly and as you say, good for the soil. Great neighbours and such a cute baby too.
