This little guy showed up on our son’s front porch. DS lives in Northern California and it has been raining the last couple of days. Don’t know what kind of owl, but a youngster, I think!

I like ICICLES! Winter, not so much!
I took this photo during out snow storm a few weeks ago! I like to look at icicles. Against the blue sky and cloud- shrouded sun, they are especially pretty!

Upon Diann’s recommendation I checked our library for this book. The President’s Daughter.
Then I discovered the first one, Clinton and Patterson collaborated on, The President Is Missing. So, I started with the first one, cause that’s how I am. They are stand alone stories, as I understand it. I really am enjoying The President is Missing!

ReplyDeleteNeat owl photo! I like those Sweatpants and Coffee people, too - they do have good words! Glad you found the books. I'm like that, too, always want to start at the beginning of a series. Snow and icicles I am definitely not ready for, but they are pretty!

Hi Judy! Wow, that would be a bit intimidating to see that owl perched on the front porch. I love those memes as well. I get an email each morning called Mindset. So many of them are just perfect - I share way too many of them because they speak to me. I totally get it!! I love plants, too. My aloe vera plant died, darn it. I think I overwatered it. I really need to pick up a new one - they really help when you burn yourself! WOWEE! That Christmas cactus is fabulous!!! Mine is holding on but never seems to grow any bigger. Do you repot them to encourage growth? I really don't know anything about cacti. I love the tree analogy!! I can think of a few people I need to send that message to. {{Hugs}} and happy Thursday. ~smile~ Roseanne
ReplyDeleteYour plants look awesome. I think my Aloe needs to be repotted it is tall and spindly. LOL I do the same thing with books I have to read the first, even if can be a stand alone. Oh your Christmas Cactus is fabulous looking. Mine are starting to do better.
