Stitching along with Kathy and friends for Slow Sunday Stitching! I hope to watch the video this morning for the December design on Kathy Schmitz’s Woven Wreath project. I have enjoyed this slow stitch so much. I’m planning on stitching on it today. I didn’t take time to get a photo. I finished the Mr. Claus wool ornament.
Along with some completed previously, my cutting table has become a wrapping station. Mr. Clause, Harry Hedgehog and Mama Bear are awaiting the arrival of gift cards. Ms. Fox in the foreground is attached to a boxed gift card. Beatrice Bunny and Scooter Squirrel have real money tucked inside. Ornaments for this year are complete.
We are headed to our son’s for Christmas, so I have packed some slow stitching. There will be a few Christmas themed ones, one Biscornu I hope to start! Have you ever stitched a biscornu pincushion?
A biscornu is a pincushion made from two squares of the same design that are joined in an offset hemline, resulting in an eight-pointed star pillow.
So I’ll keep my hands busy with some special slow stitching
This morning I finished the last two stitches for the 29th and 30th of November on the Temperature Heart cross stitch.
It needs a good press! Just the pointed part for December.

Your wool ornaments are so cute, Judy! I've never seen a biscornu before, but that is really pretty. Looks like the perfect project for your trip. Safe travels!
