I LIKE Thursday. Mar 7th. Joining LeeAnna and friends at Not Afraid of Color
I finished this book yesterday! I enjoyed it very much! As much as I liked Becoming but in a totally different way.
I sewed for Project Quilting . PQ 15.5. Wearables
Jammy pants, loungie pants, every day pants. Whatever you call them, they are roomy and comfy. Perfect for wearing while bingeing on our latest! Mr & Mrs Smith and Firefly Lane!
Oh BTW, have you seen Draft Day with Kevin Costner? Puts a light on the whole trading, releasing and drafting of players in the NFL! And other major leagues too, I assume!

Describe something you experience with EACH of your senses every SPRING!
Taste: Is March Spring? Then I was thrilled to taste a Shamrock Shake! Or chocolate Easter Bunnies! Yum!
Touch: I like the feel of the sun on my face. Yes I wear sunscreen and sunglasses, but the first days of warm sun is very pleasant!
Sight: I was hoping to have pictures of the baby ducks that Mr Busy saw at Bomgaars late last week. We made a special trip so I could see them. But alas, every galvanized stock tank was empty! I hoping for crocuses peeking up soon.
Hearing: I’m looking forward to the first robin song in our yard and the special call of the Meadowlark.
Smell: I like the smell of the air after it rains. Sometimes I can even smell the rain before it actually rains.
I apologize for this not posting this morning. I was going to do it first thing, overslept and completely forgot! Now that I’m home from my Stitching group, I’m off to check the other participants!
I read Becoming! Haven't read her newer book, so thanks for the recommendation. I love hearing the meadowlarks, too! Hope you had a fun sewing day with friends!
ReplyDeleteThat first touch of warm sun on the face is so wonderful. Even if the cold sneaks back now and again, it's great to actually feel a little hot for the first time in months.
ReplyDeleteEveryone must love baby ducks, they are fun to see aren't they! As much as I love winter, I do love hearing the birds singing and seeing the white blooming Bradford pear trees. The Shamrock shake sounds good.
ReplyDeleteEveryone should have jammy pants. My jammy wardrobe is growing each winter, I notice...comfort beats out style these days. How true that meme! I too am very disappointed not to see the baby ducks!

ReplyDeleteshamrock shakes are an early sign of spring! Like Easter stuff. The meadowlark song is glorious, unique and what a fun video. It reminds me of the joy nature brings to us if we listen. I haven't read Michele's book but the title, gives me goosebumps. congrats on getting PQ done on time and aren't those pants going to be fun to wear! Nice to make something to wear isn't it? LeeAnna
