Not much yellow was sewn this week. I’m still trying to work out the arrangement of the Full Stop rows. It’s a bit of a puzzle! I even enlisted the help of Minnie and Rudolph! There was even a small black spider who wanted to check out my blocks, but didn’t want her picture taken!
This may not be the final layout!
And only one yellow Bright Birches was constructed! Though there are bits and pieces of yellow in lots of the birches strips! In fact, the yellow square is still under construction 🚧!
Today I’m attending an Herb Festival with friends. It’s put on my our county Master Gardeners. Should be fun, and I’m sure I’ll learn a lot!

Oh, I was just thinking of making some Birch blocks but just use strips instead of scrappy strips. You have a nice assortment of blocks made.
ReplyDeleteOh, an Herb Fest sounds like fun. I have a little herb garden but I'm sure I'd learn a lot from some Master Gardeners. I 've recently been researching medicinal uses of herbs/wildflowers and have quite a few old herbals.
Your birch blocks look great, Judy! I have always liked that pattern. A lot of puzzling is involved with Full Stop, then a lot of background fabric when you sew some on, measure it, trim it off, etc., etc., etc! :)

ReplyDeleteLol on Minnie and Rudolph helping with Full Stop! I hear you on the spider. I actually rescue spiders (and other bugs/critters) and take them outside. I have to or the cats will torture them. Birches is looking really good!
