Movie: A Man Called Otto! Amazing ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Last Saturday we took in an early matinee. I mentioned to Mr Busy that I really wanted to see this movie, because I had so enjoyed the book. So he said, let’s all go! So the three of us, DD, Mr Busy and I went. It was enjoyed by all!
This is not a like for us, but I'm glad for her! DD is moving back to Colorado. She has a job, now needs to find housing. Hoping for “home share” or renting of part of a house or some such arrangement! The housing market is difficult there.
Mr Busy and I have been trying to watch the current season of Yellowstone on a free trial month of YouTube TV. We enjoyed previous seasons, but after we “cut the cable”, could not watch the new season.
We did watch 1883 and 1923, and enjoyed both of those prequels to Yellowstone!
Haven’t started another book. But I have a UFB…..Unfinished Book!
I started this in October last year. It’s not that I don’t like it. It’s just I have other things I rather do!

Viva Magenta
Do you remember that last week I told you that there were no colors that I hated. I might have been wrong! I m pretty sure I intensely dislike Viva Magenta! I looked at lots of sites online. I saw chairs! Nope! I saw bed linens! Nope! I saw wall colors, Double Nope!
I guess I’m a Ginger in my heart and I don’t like this shade or hue or color! Sorry, strong, vibrant dominate women. But it’s just not Me!
That being said, I dug out my center block from the SAHRR in 2020. I thought I might try it again.
I only got this far! Maybe I really don’t like magenta!! I put this away, because I didn’t like it!
I do kinda like the polka dot, but it’s more hot pink than magenta!
The border for this week is stars! I promise they won’t be magenta! 😀
I've heard only good things about the movie A Man Called Otto. Happy to hear you enjoyed it. Wishing your daughter all the best on her move and new job.

ReplyDeleteHi Judy! I have to agree with you - I'm not a magenta fan. I rarely gravitate toward any of the purple-family hues. I love those polka dots with your spools!! ReplyDeleteI like the Strike books. I always pictured magenta was more purple than that. I like it, but I wouldn't want it on the walls either!!
ReplyDeleteI think magenta is a beautiful color in itself, but for clothes, furniture, walls, quilting fabric; it's a big no for me! It's hard to finish up something we don't really like, but I'm sure you will get your SAHRR done.
ReplyDeleteGood luck to your daughter finding housing. It sounds both exciting - I'd love to be looking for a house in a mountain state, but only if I had a lot of money! - and scary. My husband read the book upon which A Man Called Otto was based - A Man Called Ove - and he really enjoyed it. I have the same feeling about magenta, and especially Pantone's "warm" version of it.
