The Joyful Quilter and I had a mini challenge to finish a red scrap basket by the last ScrapHappy Saturday in September. In fact, we've done it 4 times so far. We both got it done! Here is mine.

And then I decided I needed a dark red scrap basket. So, I made slab blocks and voila!
And I also finished my One Monthly Goal. A Challenge designed by my friend Kathy. Use two item from a received brown paper bag and make something to match a weird holiday, from a list she provided.

ReplyDeleteYes on scrap baskets. Have you tried using batting inside the baskets? I used flex foam in the first one I made (and yes, it was red also!) It does a fairly good job of standing up actually. And it is so convenient to just pull it off the shelf to find the right size scrap.
