I LIKE Thursday. #14

 Good Morning everyone! I’m going to try to find a few likes today! And then you can hop on over to Not Afraid of Color and check out LeeAnna's likes this week. There she has a list of other bloggers who LIKE to link up. 

Beside My Chair! (or bedside this week)

You see a Kindle plugged in (green), underneath the Kindle is a red spiral notebook. It's my Word Journal. I keep track of words I find while reading that I don't know for sure. Then I look them up and record the definition and where I found them. What book, what page! There is an iPad plugged in(pink). A box of tissue ( Puffs with lotion), hand cream (Working Hands, the only one that works on my split thumb in the winter), lip balm (any kind will work, I pick up freebies at hotels, the dentists office, any where I see one), and Icy Hot rub. I use this and many others though my favorite is a locally produced balm called Unker's! Magic in a jar!. Last but not least my favorite item. A ceramic dog face I made for my grandmother years ago. I got it back when she passed. It holds my glasses at night. 

Also beside my bed is this bag of books. Some I have read and some I have not. I made the bag 2 years ago. Actually, I made two. I donated one to the silent actions that supports our county library. 

I put up some more Fall/Halloween decor. 

I don't have a kitchen quilt, but this table runner works. I need a Fall/Halloween Kitchen quilt. I have this large basically blank wall( well it has wallpaper in very dated blue and mauve flowers! Ugh!)

This little pillow is on the living room couch. Made from the leftovers from the table runner above.

this pillow. A stitchery I did several years ago. It doesn't sit very well on our leather couch, so the photo was taken outside on the back deck. 

This quilt was at the quilt show last weekend. I have that panel. I like this setting. There were lots of quilts. Here is one....

On Ringo Lake. A Bonnie Hunter pattern, executed by my friend Jean. She won the Patti Knotts Award. A coveted award in our local quilt show. Patti Knotts and her mom started the quilt show in our small community 38 years ago. They are both gone now, and there is a committee to keep it going. 

I guess that's about all this week. I am liking the warm temperatures and the cool nights. That's why fall is my favorite time of year. I leave you with another picture of Halloween socks. There is a witch on the ankle and the words "heh" "heh" in black and orange.
