| A lilac bush at our library. So pretty! |
I’ve got nothing for the upteenth Friday in a row. But I’ll share on Alycia’s blog. I was in Colorado at Medical Center of the Rockies with Mr. Busy. An unplanned, urgent but not emergency triple bypass. I am home in Wyoming but he is at a rehabilitation facility til the 10th of June. It’s 129 miles away. So I don’t go every day.
You would think I would be sewing. But my concentration is short.
⤴️There are pieces cut for a baby quilts following along with Glowing Hearts QAL at mmmquilts. I have til August.
There is partial construction of green potato chip blocks ⤴️
And there is a pile of BH Triple Treat blocks that are in need of assembly. They looked like this on the design wall, before I stacked them up.⤵️
All waiting for me.
Stay Busy (right?) and Stay Happy (I’m trying) and Healthy (absolutely) and Hopeful (with God’s help)

Judy, just getting home and having a chance to reorganize and see what you want to be doing is huge! Can you video chat with Mr. Busy so it feels like you can see him everyday? Have a good Friday!
ReplyDeleteTriple bypass is no joke at all!!! Of course you'll get nothing done when your loved one is going through that! I'm so sorry. Forget about not being productive with sewing, you've got more important things going on. That said, I do love the potato chip start and your Triple Threat quilt looks incredible! Give yourself a hug and stay well.
ReplyDeleteMy prayers are with you and your dear hubby. I can only imagine how difficult it is being so far away . Do take care of yourself. You have some wonderful projects to work on when you feel up to it. Warm hugs.
ReplyDeleteYou only need to do what you want and projects will wait for their time. Take care of yourself so you can take care of Mr Busy
ReplyDeleteJudy, you are doing great in the face of what I call lonely worry. My husband was gone for a long stretch several years ago, and it was the hardest thing I've ever gone through. I feel for you. I'm glad you have a date that Mr Busy will be home, you can have a countdown. Praying for you both.
ReplyDeleteOh goodness - sending you great big hugs.. and prayers Mr Busy heals up fast.
