ONE MONTHLY GOAL AUGUST 2019

I have a baby quilt to make for a great niece, before the 1st week in October and I have a challenge project from one of my groups that needs to be done by the middle of October.

I have the pattern and the fabric for the baby quilt. I will send it out to have it quilted.

I have a fabric suggestion and no other direction for the challenge project. I may have an inkling of an idea and I will probably quilt it myself.

I didn’t know which one to choose for my OMG...but I may have just made my decision by “talking it out”. I think I will make the baby quilt as my August OMG.  A flimsy is the goal, because I am at the mercy of a long armer. And she will need time to get it in her queue and get it quilted. Then I’ll have time to get it bound!

So this is the pattern, Wiggle Time by Cynthia  Brunz. Cynthia blogs at  Quilting is More Fun Than Housework  and has lots of fabulous patterns in her shop!

And these are the fabrics! Purchased at a LQS. I was just drawn to these fabrics and Melissa doesn't want anything "too girly". I did not even check the designer til I got home and laid them out on my cutting table. I should have know: Nancy Halvorson, on of my favorite fabric designers.

 The background fabric in the photo above looks kind of dark. It really isn't.
