To-Do Turesday. Some Stitching and Some Partying!

I’m joining Linda at Texas Quilt Gal and some friends to share my to-do list from last week. And then make a list for the upcoming week. Come see what everyone has been up to! Linda has a double post today!  Let's go look!

Last week I made this to-do list:

1. Sew light blue strings and crumb blocks ✅. Two String Blocks! Mostly light blue!

2. Keep stitching. Boo Crew! ✅.  A witch hat!

3. Plan birthday party for great grandson! 9 is Huge!  ✅

Success!

It was a Fortnight Theme!   Do you know Fortnight??

Yes!!!  There was cake!  Chocolate with chocolate frosting!!

4. Decide on One Monthly Goal for September!  ✅

My post is here!  There will be strings and crumbs!

Next weeke there are more small goals!

1. Keep working on the scrap tote. Some fabric just doesn't fit into a color family, so I will have some multi colored strings with a consistent cream center diagonal!

2. Half square triangles into a Zigzag Row.

3. Finish the first O in BOO CREW and start the second O!

4. Give some thought to Light Blue Pumpkins!!!  For the Table Scraps Challenge!

That should keep me out of trouble!!

Stay Busy and Stay Happy and Healthy!

  2. Those are gorgeous string blocks Judy! I'm always so attracted to strings, and I make SUCH a mess when I work with them. Love the peek into your pretty kitchen - yum on chocolate with chocolate - I bet your grandson had a great time.
Thank you for sharing with us at To Do Tuesday!

  3. That is a great goal to make strings and crumb blocks with that tote of fabric! You'll probably get enough blocks for a quilt. I hope the party was fun - looks like you did a wonderful job on it!

  5. You sound like you achieved a good bit. Love the party, I have a great nephew turning 9 at end of year. Not sure what kind of party he will have. String blocks are good scrap sucker uppers! I admire all those who stitch, I am not into it but I see Pat Sloan doing it and of course the FQS.

  8. Great you could host a BD party for your GGS!!! In my book, fortnight means 2 weeks, but there's obviously something else going on with the young generation!!!
