To-Do Tuesday #137

April 18 to April 24

1. Finish ABC Table Scraps Challenge ✅

The project is done, but no photos til Friday.
2. Finish November stitchery ✅

Pardon my shadow.

3. Stitch on Spring Stamps from Pinker n Punkin. ✅

Progress made.

4. Get blue borders on Long May She Wave. ✅.

Just as we started to take a photo, the wind came up!

And then it got worse....back inside we went!

5. Make House #3 for Rainbow Neighbourhood QAL ✅

My photo looks a bit lopsided. It really isn't. But this house is rather "busy"! Maybe I should tone down the next 5 or six???? I keep thinking I am finally going to use up that mauve-y pink in the roof...but there is still more! 😆

April 25 - May 1

1. Write post for ABC Table Scraps Challenge

2. Look for backing for Long May She Wave

3. Quilt more on Precarious and write an OMG post!

4. Start on December stitchery for A Year in the Garden

5. Make one purple string block, at least.

6. House #4 for Rainbow Neighbourhood QAL -

TO-DO Tuesday #136

I think I’m linking with Carol at Quilt Schmilt for To-Do Tuesday. My iPad and I are having a problem getting along. I may have to go to my laptop! The linky party is live.

1. Host another family gathering! ✅

I didn’t take any photos! Last Friday, out daughter drove up from Colorado to get more stuff and her cat! Her daughter and grandchildren were here after school on Friday til supper time. And back again for most of Saturday. We drew on paper, Miss B has been having nightmares, so we wrote a story about that and illustrated it.

I punched holes and she picked a ribbon from stash.

We played Sorry and Guess Who and Happy Little Dinosaurs.

Which is way more complicated than it looks!

We walked Tinkerbell (a rescue dog that joined their household) And ate ,of course!

2. Finish house #2 for Rainbow Neighbourhood QAL. ✅

3. Finish NOVEMBER stitchery.❌. But it’s close and I will get it done this week!,
4. SPRING SEW projects. ✅

I sewed batting scraps together to make usable sizes!

I got all the rows sewed together for Long May She Wave.

I worked on the Blue House ( see above)

Purple crumb blocks were my leaders and enders while I sewed the rows together on the R,W,B quilt.

Slow Sunday Stitching ~ Happy Easter!🐣

Some quiet Sunday Stitching on this Easter Sunday! Joining Kathy at Slow Sunday Stitching !

I’m nearly finished with the November stitch. Just a bumblebee and a ladybug. Then, I’ll be ready to start December.

Of course I had to start another counted cross stitch, because it’s the Spring Stamp SAL from Pinker n Punkin. I loved doing the Autumn stamp , so I had to do Spring! Thanks Melisa!

The fabric is what was left when I tea and coffee stained a piece of 14 ct Aida for the Autumn Stamp. As you can see there was barely enough. I added strips of fabric to each side so I could use a small hoop. It is very stiff. You can see the hoop marks, but I’m not a very good in-hand stitcher. My left hand tends to cramp up. I think this will work. I’ve used this technique in the past. Hope to get some stitches in this one, Melisa will have a chart out for the 3rd square soon. On the 10th , her schedule says! I’m trying to catch up, but will not put more stress in my life. What will be will be!
