I LIKE Thursday. #269

 

Good Morning Good People!

Today I’m sharing some good stuff. Check out the Thursday post at Not Afraid of Color to see what others are sharing. 

Did you watch the Super Bowl?  Neither team was or is a favorite. We are Denver Broncos fans through and through. We decided to root for the Seahawks. Why? Cause my football freak brother said he likes Sam Darnold.  QB. 

This is as close as I could get to Seahawks colors. LOL

 We have been tuning into the Olympics. We watched Curling, I’m in awe of that. 

This is Cory Thiesse, the first US woman to medal in Curling. She and her partner Korey Dopkin won Silver in the Mixed Doubles Championship. Way to go!

Also Breezy Johnson, a native of Jackson Wyoming, won Gold in Women’s Downhill. 

While all the winter sports are happing in Italy, I have tulips coming up. 

This little clump was a birthday gift from Mr. Busy last year, February. I decided to plant them in the fall, so stored them down stairs in my pantry closet. And I forgot about them. When I discovered them again, I quickly planted them in the area surrounding our bird bath. It’s been so warm they are up too early. Fingers crossed they don’t get frozen in a spring blizzard. 

Speaking of blizzards, we’ve had some horrendous winds this winter just no snow. That’s a plastic tarp caught in one of our trees. Not a tarp from our yard, but from some neighboring yard. Mr Busy is not allowed on ladders any more,  so we will have to hire a climber.

Describe a wonderful romantic date. 

We’re not much into dates these days, but I would like a quiet dinner out. In a restaurant with tablecloths, and a wine list. Maybe real candles (not those phony looking battery ones). Oh, and Shrimp Scampi and a great dinner salad. ❤️🩷🍤🥗
