This has been a hard week, since Wednesday night. I’m speaking of my personal week, not the week we all experienced on the global/national stage.
I’ve been trying to stay grounded by stitching. Mostly counted cross stitch on this Thankful small.
This morning, it looks like this.
I’m a center starter. So the turkey got started first. Then I wanted to get to the word THANKFUL. It will give a better sense of how big this will be. The fabric was given to me, it’s not 36ct linen stitched over 2, as suggested. I think it’s 28 ct. But I stitched over two, so it should be like stitching on 14 ct. You will notice that as of right now, I have the right leg of the A and the KFUL. Then I’ll go back to finishing the turkey’s tail.

That turkey makes me smile - I would start with him, too! Glad you have gotten a little stitching time in. I hope the news is good from Mr. Busy - sending lots of positive thoughts to you both! 🩷
