Not a lot of red sewing this last week.
Round 2 at SAHRR became a right hand border for Rudy the Elf!
Red was cut for zipper blocks, only one was constructed!
Red and neutrals were cut for split 9 blocks, again only one was constructed.
I spent some time sorting and pressing, and getting acquainted with my AccuQuilt cutter again. I needed to order a cutting mat to go with a larger die that I just ordered. There should be progress soon.
And Mr Busy has me helping update our kitchen cabinets. New hinges, and new knobs. Plus cleaning and covering the nicks and dull places with Old English Scratch Cover. That stuff is amazing!

Rudy is the perfect project for February! Your zipper and split 9 blocks look good, too. The kitchen project probably has to come first, though - hope it is going smoothly!

ReplyDeleteYour reds are so pretty - I have my red scrap bin out but haven't opened it yet! Isn't it fun to update and redo? A couple years ago we had our kitchen cabinets painted a soft white, and it still makes me happy to walk into the kitchen.
