Well, Phooey!

Sharing this short post at ScrapHappy  Saturday and Slow Sunday Stitching.

Nothing accomplished by me this week. Except trip to the ER, doctor’s office, PT Dept and the Dermatology Clinic.

Monday I fell, walking outdoors. Fullout face plant!

Bruises, and a small fracture to my left elbow.

By Tuesday morning I looked pretty sad!

. After a visit to the orthopedic clinic and their PT department, I looked, not better, but different.

Thursday, Mr. Busy dropped me off at Stitching, to lift my spirits. I visited and felt better. then we went to the Dermatologist.  He took a growth off my right upper arm.

Waiting for pathology report! Fingers crossed.!.

No sewing for me this week, will see how next week goes! I’ll let you know!

Stay Busy and Stay Happy and Healthy and Hopeful!

  1. Well, phooey indeed! Good to have a friend who stayed with you through the whole ordeal. I hope you are not in too much pain and that your arm and bruises get better quickly. And, that the pathology report is good. You will be back sewing soon. Gail at the cozy quilter

  8. Hope you heal fast. And find a comfortable position for that arm.
My husband fell and it was bad on his knees and arm. The cause: Hoka shoes. He loves them and then Plop!
He read that Hoka brand is not re offended for seniors. Now we know.

  9. Oh Judy, I'm so sorry! Phooey indeed! I hope you are not in too much pain. Speedy recovery! I fell on the street last November, hit the temporal bone and cheekbone, my face had very nice colors for some weeks!

  10. Wow! You sure did a good job at messing yourself up. I'm so sorry to read about your ordeal. Sending prayers that all heals well and fast. (that's an interesting cast for your arm. At least it's not as warm as a regular one but it still sucks!) Hope the test result is good news too. ;^)
