Some Slow Sunday Stitching with Kathy today. I’ll not be as invested in the
football games today. My team won yesterday, then lost their star QB. So Sad!
I still have several WIPs going.
The biscornu is still at the backstitching phase.
I started a winter stitch. It’s from Bent Creek , Winter Row. I’m a pushover for stitches with words or letters. It is a very slow stitch for me, on 32 ct linen 2 over 2. I need really good light and magnifiers on my glasses.
My go-to project for short bouts of stitching is this cute free design from Primrose Cottage. I’m stitching it with DMC colors on 18 ct Aida, white.

What kind of magnifiers do you use when stitching that alphabet design, Judy? I need something like that, too. I've just been wearing an extra pair of readers in front of my regular glasses, and it mostly works, but I'm sure it looks pretty silly! (Mike doesn't seem to care, though!) I'm thinking I'll start that Primrose Cottage design this week, too, but I need some white Aida cloth first.
ReplyDeleteLove that new one, Winter Row. Now I have a problem getting white floss to lay nice and flat for me. Don't know why. Anyway, you are off to a great slow stitchy start, Judy.
