Good Morning! I'm joining Linda at Texas Quilt Gal for To-Do-Tuesday!
Nov 1 to Nov 7. The 1st through the 3rd, I was attending a retreat! So my list looked like this!
1. Get caught up on all the QOV clues! ❌
All the parts, except sashing, were ready! I only got these block together! But lots of great friendships were renewed and some new ones made! It was a very enjoyable time!
2. Work on the scrappy stars table runner with I Believe in Angels charm pack.✅
The table runner was assembled, a backing was chosen. Binding was constructed and all layers were spray basted. Actual quilting was started but no photo.
3. Keep Slow Stitching ✅
There was some slow “un-stitching”. I miscounted and my pumpkins were out of alignment! Ugh! All are back on track, but I’ve lost a magnet from one of my needle minders! I have more magnets, but it upsets me!

It’s Election Day, we voted early and will get our Flu shots today! Appointments for Covid boosters are also made!

Your stars look wonderful, Judy! Even if you didn't get as much done as you'd hoped. Your retreat sounds fun! I'm looking forward to seeing the starry tablerunner. Love the encouraging words in your last photo - good to keep in mind!

ReplyDeleteHow nice to attend a retreat! They are fun. Sorry you lost the back to a needle minder. I lost a whole needle minder still in the package. It was a gift for a friend and it is stuck to something metal in my sewing room, but I've yet to find it!

There was a sudden instant of happy tears stinging at the corner of my eyes when I first opened and saw the top of your blog. "Busy hands are happy hands." I really don't think a day in my mother's life went by that she didn't find a reason to say that little phrase. I love it.
ReplyDeleteThe retreat sounds wonderful and full of chat and sewing no doubt. Yes losing anything is annoying. All your work is coming along nicely. Hope this week's plans are going well.
