Sharing these thoughts with friends at Not Afraid of Color. After the national events this week we really need some Joy. We may have to manifest it ourselves.
LeeAnna wants to know if I sing in the shower. I do not. And Mr. Busy is grateful. I used to sing, but not in the shower. But as I have aged, my voice has deteriorated. I’ll hum along with a radio, or disc on the player. I don’t have a playlist on my phone.

I’m still trying to decide on a block or blocks for Rainbow Scrap Challenge for 2026. I need to finish some prior year’s UFO.

And I’ve thought about the Stash Buster Challenge blocks from Border Creek Station. It’s a Delectable Mountain block. Decisions, decisions!
One last thing. I got my haircut today and Cassie made a hairdresser’s decision to give me a do!
The jury is still out……but the curls won’t hold anyway.

Pretty 'do, Judy! My hairdresser always does that, too - blows it dry and all that kind of thing - wish I had those skills! I agree with the need for joy in our lives - that is challenging right now. Enjoy all your projects and ideas! I loved making those 16 patch stars - they make a pretty quilt!
ReplyDeleteSo nice to see you Judy. You are so lucky to be able to grow out your hair like this. Mine turns to pure whisp when more than a couple of inches so count yourself lucky! So many choices for the RSC, heh, I'm having a hard time deciding.
ReplyDeleteKnowing that you'll be making several over the period of a year, you want to like making the block you've decided on. That does make it a toughie! I'm having a hard time too, especially since I'm a sucker for mystery quilts and they seem to present themselves throughout the year as temptation! Lol! Good luck deciding!
