Good Morning! I’m linking up with Linda at Texas Quilt Gal to share a short list of what I’d like to accomplish this week. We have been away from home for 9 days in June. A long road trip . Yesterday Mr Busy had his last checkup following his late May cataract surgery. He got an “ all good” report! “ See you in a year!” While we in the bigger retail area we looked for new living room chairs! Yikes I had sticker shock! One occasional chair was $1929.00 ! Most were $700!
Anyway back to my list!
1. Quit and bind table topper in blue!
2. Sew blue and white half square triangles for Zig Zag row.
3. Finish counted cross stitch items into bowl pillows.
4. Today is the first day of summer!….hang Summer wall quilt!
Finger crossed for time in the sewing room!
We are headed to the Rec Center this morning to walk in the pool! Looking forward to that!
Glad you're beginning to feel a little more like you're back in the swing of things, Judy! Walking in the pool sounds so enjoyable. Looking forward to seeing your table scraps in blue, too!

ReplyDeleteHi Judy! Yippee for an all clear - see you next year report. And I've had a similar sticker shock over furniture! Holy moly!! My niece moved in February 2020 and had to wait until July 2020 for the new couch she ordered in December 2019. That was blamed on the pandemic - supply shortages, no workers, or whatever. Now it seems like prices have been raised and will never come back down. Why should they - we're paying the higher prices. I don't know how anyone with a static income makes it. Any income increase doesn't seem to match inflation no matter the source. I know I'm not getting an 8.5% raise this year! Stepping down from the soap box now - sorry.
