First Chapter First Paragraph Tuesday Intro #3 - Perks

Every Tuesday, Diane at Bibliophile by the Sea posts the first paragraph or maybe two of her current read. Anyone can join in. Go to Diane's website for the image and share the first paragraph (or2) of the current book you are reading.

Title:  the perks of being a wallflower
Author: Stephen Chbosky
Publisher: Gallery Books, a division of Simon & Schuster
Published: 1999

This title has been on my TBR list for some time now. I found it on sale at Hastings last week, when I went in to see if I could find the next title for my F2F book club. I did not find Help Thank Wow by Anne Lamont, but found this one. So I did not walk out empty handed.

Dear friend,
I am writing to you because she said you listen and understand and didn't try to sleep with that person at that party even though you could have. Please don't try to figure out who she is because then you might figure out who I am, and I really don't want you to do that. I will call people by different names or generic names because I don't want you to find me. I didn't enclose a return address for the same reason.  I mean nothing bad by this . Honest.

Until next time,
Stay Busy and Stay Happy
